Lauren & Josh’s Fairytale Wedding at Wedgewood North Shore

Aug 14, 2018 | Photography, Wedding

Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog. I always enjoy photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for today’s featured couple. Meet Lauren and Josh. These two were a blast to work with, and they both looked AMAZING! Lauren looked prettier than Cinderella in her princess-style gown and tiara. Check these two out, workin’ it for their formal shots—the camera loves them!
The wedding and reception were both held at Wedgewood North Shore in Wasdworth, IL. This was a beautiful venue, both indoors and outdoors. The ceremony was held outside surrounded by lush greenery, and the reception was held inside, where every detail was adhered to. Wedgewood North Shore also provided the catering, which was delicious.
A few more people that helped Lauren and Josh’s wedding go off without a hitch were: Cake Maker: Sweet Discoveries, Florist: Debbie’s FloralHair and makeup: Beaute Luxe.
The first dances were both fun and emotional to watch. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house during the Father-Daughter dance. Lauren and Josh just exuded love and happiness, and the Mother-Son dance was upbeat and so sweet!
The dancing continued with DJ services provided by Big Cat Entertainment. One of my favorite moments is when everyone got up to do the Time Warp. Look how much fun they were having! Especially Josh!
The evening drew to a close with a sweet treat, a Cotton Candy Cart provided by Julie Michelle Cakes! There was a long line of guests waiting to try out some flavors new to cotton candy, such as Champagne, Pina Colada and Margarita. Yum!

I had a wonderful time photographing this wedding. Cheers to Lauren and Josh! May your life together be filled with much love and happiness. Thank you for allowing me to take part in your special day! And now, here are some of my very favorite photographs from the day’s festivities. Enjoy!
